Porfolio Reflections
Please list all the resources you have discovered this week, as well as your personal thoughts for this week's activities, remember you can add images, videos, links,etc...Deadline: Every week!!! (if you ant to include your holyday adventures its ok)
Participation on the forum
"Identify one collaborative tool you have used, was it for educational purpose? if you have never used a colaborative tool, what one tool would you like to investigate further for educational purposes (e.g., digital story telling)?"
- You may want to check your previous portfolio (from the previous course)
- After you have decided which of the tools that you have recorded (perhaps the one you used in your final project) on your portfalio has helped you you will describe that one tool and also the way in which this tool have helped you or your learners.
- Go to the class forum (nicenet) and post your notes
- You may want to add a copy of it on your blog.

Bookmarking
After visiting one or more of the websites presented in the resources section (from this blog), learners will bookmark any that they may want to use for future reference, and share it in our class forum with a brief description and review.
- Go to this section. and visit the websites listed there under resources for Unit 1.2
- Bookmark the websites that you think you may use in the future
- You may use one of the following tools for bookmarking: here's a list of top 10 bookmarking tools
- Take some screenshots of the bookmarks you have made and post them on your personal blog.
- Comment your choices on our class forum.

After carefully revising the resources that students have discovered, learners will make a list of
digital and non digital tools that they can use in their classroom to help facilitate face to face and virtual learning for students, teachers and other in a learning community in a chart that will include: the name of the tool, the description of the tool and the way this tool can help you whether is face to face or virtual learning, learners will include at least 5 tools.

Tasks for the week of February 29th to March 6th
This is a brief description of the task for this week.
- Portfolio reflection (on your personal blog)
- Participation on the forum: in your own experience, how can teachers foster our students inventiveness and creativity.
- Create a graphic organizer that represent your understanding of creativity and the creative process. You may wish to use one of the graphic organizer generators available online (e.g., www.teach-nology.com) or a software tool such as microsoft publisher, open office, or inspiration.
- Add to the table 1.1 a column and add there an activity per intelligence.
- Interview to a person we consider to be creative.
Portfolio reflection (on your personal blog)
By now you all know what to do here, however I still have not seen some of your blogs, please do make sure that your blog is listed in our Padlet under the section tasks, if you have not done it please do it and if you still do not know how to, please ask.
I have also noticed that some of you are just taking pictures and posting "comments", I do not want just "comments" I want reflections about the activities done during the week, please add links, and ideas on how to innovate with the tools you see. I will take it into account.
Participation on the forum: in your own experience, how can teachers foster our students inventiveness and creativity?.
After reading this (see the resources section) and visiting some blogs and websites about creativity, learners will reply to the post "How can we as teachers foster our students creativity?" in at least one paragraph lenght.
- Read this, and visit the websites listed on the resource list 1.1
- Take some notes, you can create mind maps or brainstorm ideas.
- Think of different audiences, kids, teens, adults etc
- Go to the forum section and post your ideas, you may also comment on other replies.
Deadline for this is sunday 8th, 11:59 pm, please do not leave this for the last minute of sunday, internet situations may occur, and excuses will not be valid.

After reading this and visiting the websites suggested in our resource section, learners will create a one-page graphic organizer that represents their understanding of creativity and the creative process, using images and key words.
- Read the NETS-T1a document, search for more information about creativity and its process.

- Print it, or create it as you wish in the material you wish and bring it to our class next wednesday 601 or thursday 602.
Deadline is Friday 11th for 601 and Wednesday 9th for 602

After reading the table 1.1, learners will add a column to it and one activity per each intelligence, using the abcd model in each set of instructions.

- Print your document and bring it to our second class during the week
Deadline is Wednesday 4th for 601 and Thursday 5th for 602
Interview a person (and record it) whom you consider to be creative.
After preparing at least 5 questions about creativeness, learners will interview a person whom they consider to be creative, in a shor video clip of no more than 10 minutes lenght.
- Prepare questions at least 5
- Think of the person whom you consider to be creative and ask him or her to help you with this inerview, set day, time place etc...
- Prepare recording device, Camera, cellphone etc.
- Have the interview (it can be done in Spanish)
- Post the interview on tour blog. Visit other peoples blog and make some comments there.
Deadline: Sunday March 13th, 11:59 pm.
