- You may want to check your previous portfolio (from the previous course)
- After you have decided which of the tools that you have recorded (perhaps the one you used in your final project) on your portfalio has helped you you will describe that one tool and also the way in which this tool have helped you or your learners.

Tasks for the week of February 29th to March 6th
This is a brief description of the task for this week.
- Portfolio reflection (on your personal blog)
- Participation on the forum: in your own experience, how can teachers foster our students inventiveness and creativity.
- Create a graphic organizer that represent your understanding of creativity and the creative process. You may wish to use one of the graphic organizer generators available online (e.g., www.teach-nology.com) or a software tool such as microsoft publisher, open office, or inspiration.
- Add to the table 1.1 a column and add there an activity per intelligence.
- Interview to a person we consider to be creative.
Portfolio reflection (on your personal blog)
By now you all know what to do here, however I still have not seen some of your blogs, please do make sure that your blog is listed in our Padlet under the section tasks, if you have not done it please do it and if you still do not know how to, please ask.
I have also noticed that some of you are just taking pictures and posting "comments", I do not want just "comments" I want reflections about the activities done during the week, please add links, and ideas on how to innovate with the tools you see. I will take it into account.
Participation on the forum: in your own experience, how can teachers foster our students inventiveness and creativity?.
After reading this (see the resources section) and visiting some blogs and websites about creativity, learners will reply to the post "How can we as teachers foster our students creativity?" in at least one paragraph lenght.
- Read this, and visit the websites listed on the resource list 1.1
- Take some notes, you can create mind maps or brainstorm ideas.
- Think of different audiences, kids, teens, adults etc
- Go to the forum section and post your ideas, you may also comment on other replies.
Deadline for this is sunday 8th, 11:59 pm, please do not leave this for the last minute of sunday, internet situations may occur, and excuses will not be valid.

Interview a person (and record it) whom you consider to be creative.
After preparing at least 5 questions about creativeness, learners will interview a person whom they consider to be creative, in a shor video clip of no more than 10 minutes lenght.
- Prepare questions at least 5
- Think of the person whom you consider to be creative and ask him or her to help you with this inerview, set day, time place etc...
- Prepare recording device, Camera, cellphone etc.
- Have the interview (it can be done in Spanish)
- Post the interview on tour blog. Visit other peoples blog and make some comments there.

Tasks for week February 23rd to March 1st

1. Portfolio reflections (on your personal blog)
2. Participation in our class forum (nicenet.org): "have you ever experienced a time when you misinterpret another person's email message?" Have you ever been misinterpreted in the online enviroment?
3. Write one-page guide to common internet terms that would be helpful for new or inexperience internet users.
4. Write a blog entry that is either informational or educational in nature. Exchange (share) your blog with a classmate and determine whether the blog entry portrays your classmate in a positive, negative, or neutral light. have him or her do the same for you.
5. Visit a virtual world website and note any projects that pertain to education. Describe how, if in any way, you might use the virtual world in your classroom to promote global awareness and understanding. Explain your answer in the class forum.
6. Exam!!! (no explanation is required here)

After reading the document NETS-T4c and searching on the web for more information about netiquette and other civil beahviors, learners will write one-page guide that would be helpful for new or inexperience internet users.
1. Read the document NETS-T4c and surf the net for more information about netiquette and internet civil behavior, take notes, links etc...
2. Open a word processor document and write down your notes in an organized way, you can even create a "do and don'ts" or kind of rules or tips for new internet user, you can use some pictures, illustrations, you can describe experiences, etc...
3. Make sure this is a one-page document, use at least from 700 to 1000 (seven hundred to a thousand) words.
4. Print your document and bring it to your second class this week either Wednesday (601) or Thursday (602)
Write a blog entry
After visiting some educational or informational websites so as to have a better idea on what to write, learners will write an entry on their personal blogs (the one they use for personal reflections/portfolio) that is either informative or educational in nature and share with another classmate in order to determine whether your classmate's blog entry portrays him or her in a positive, negative or neutral light.
1. You may visit some websites that have informative or educational content (this is just to have an idea on what to write not to copy and paste, beware of plagarism and copyright issues involved here)
2. Set up your blog to receive replies from other users (public)
3. Write an entry on your blog that is either educational or informative.
4. Open this word document (601) (602) and decide who will you be sharing and commenting your entry.
5. Share your blog with the person you selected (step 3) and also comment on that person's blog. Your comment should include your conclusion about whether the entry portrays your classmate in a possitive, negative or neutral light, and why you have come to this conclusion.

Virtual world website
After reading this pdf document about a virtual world project and searching and visiting some virtual world websites, learners will (on the class forum) write a review and a reflection about the virtual world and projects they found on the web, the reflection should describe: "how, if in any way, you might use the virtual world in your classroom to promote global awareness and understanding".
1. Read this document and explore virtual worlds.
2. Write a reflection about the project and a review of one of the several virtual worlds availables online. Think: How can I as a teacher implement this tool? is it posible to teach English with this, how? etc... formulate as many questions about this as possible.
3. Write donw your thoughts.
4. Go to our class forum and post under the topic Virtual worlds your review and reflection. You may add links, pictures etc.
