This weeks tasks are the following:

• Portfolio Reflections (on your personal blog)
• Create a timeline about the cultural diversity in our country.
• Create a brochure about the cultural diversity in our state.
• Design a calendar about cultural diversity (for two months only)

Create a timeline about the cultural diversity in our country (Like a history timeline but more Cultural-oriented)

After searching on the web about our country in terms of culture, learners will create a timeline depicting the cultural diversity in our country, using reliable information with valid source quotation.

1. Go to this article and select one of the ten free tools for creating free timelines

2. You can use noodletools to find a search engine that meets your requirements for this task.

3. Create a timeline that depicts the cultural diversity of our country. Here is how you can do it too.

4. Print it and bring it to our class (deadline: second class during this week: either wednesday-601- or thursday -602- )

5. Post the evidence to your personal blog.

Create a brochure about the cultural diversity in our state

After searching on the web about our state in terms of culture, learners will create a brochure depicting the cultural diversity in our state, using pictures and reliable information with valid source quotation.

1. Search for information about our state in terms of culture,

Design a calendar about cultural diversity (for two months only)

Using (if applicable) the information presented in both the timeline and the brochure, and looking for important dates (culturally speaking) in our country, learners will design and present (in class) a two-month calendar about cultural diversity in our country.
